File Extension Error

Hi,

A while back, I had a problem with my computer and I ended up losing all my
programs. I managed to get the files back, but before I reinstalled Microsoft
Office, I tried to open a .docx file with Notepad... It didn't work. The icon
for all word documents went to the blank page icon (the one that comes up for
unknown file types), and all word documents are now displayed as 'DOCX
files', instead of 'Microsoft Office Word Documents'. Reinstalliong Office
didn't help... any suggestions? Thanks.
