File extension for outlook contacts,

J

JC

I changed the email address for a client.. Importing
the .pst was not a problem.. However, I am having
difficulty re-establishing the old outlook contact address
book. Does anyone know the extension or a way to re-
establish the outlook address book. It does not appear to
have a .pab file associated with the profile.

Thx

There is no Address Book in Outlook. It is merely a view of your Contacts
Folder.
Just configure it correctly. I'd be happy to tell you how, but I can't. You
failed to post your Outlook version,. You must think we can read minds.

Outlook 2000, Corp/Workgroup:
Go to Tools > Services. Make sure the Outlook Address Book service is
listed. If not, add it. Next, R click on the Contact folder or folders you
want the OAB to display, choose "Properties", go to the Outlook Address Book
tab and check the "Show this folder as an E-mail address book" box. You may
also need to go to Tools > Options > Addressing Tab and choose to show your
Contacts folder.
