File Extensions: Viewing Of ?

Using XP and WORD 2007.

For existing text documents, how do I see what the file extension (the stuff
after the "." is ?

Hi Robert,

From Windows Explorer, choose tools|Folder Options|View and uncheck 'hide extensions for known file types'.
