How can you see the file extensions in Windows XP? Like
*.doc is WORD, what is used for the WORK programs?

Thanks.

You have to set the Windows Explorer Folder Options to show file extensions.
Works produces a variety of file types, notably .wps for word processing
documents and .wks for spreadsheets.

A friend figured this out for me - you go to "My
Computer" then "Tools" then "Folder Options" the "View"
and uncheck hide extensions. Hope this helps someone!
