File in Use dialog when I Open an extra excel via the (start menu)

I’m getting a File in Use dialog when I Open an extra excel via the (start
menu). I would like it to automatically pick “Read Only†WHEN the file is
“PERSONAL.XLSâ€. If it is any other file the user can pick whatever.

Hi expert,
I already have one excel open that is monitoring the user for certain
events. So, is there a way to intercept this dialog – file in use?

Simple fix was to go to the file that is causing the Dialog "File in use" and
set it's property to Read Only.
