Hello to all, I have a problem a strange in a net with Win2000Server and
client mixed with Win2000Pro and WinXP, on it blots some are Office2000
(just a pair) and the OfficeXP rest, the files used from the customers are
residents on of the directory shared present on the server and all the
customers work using mappings of directory that they correspond to the
directory shared, what happens is that on many files (is in format .doc that
in format .xls) there are problems after the opening, in practical opening
itself not there are problems but after it happens that after to have worked
on these files and is desired to save the brought modifications then they
begin the problems in case it was succeeded to carry out "saves" after turn
out in use and therefore it is not more succeeded to open them, or turn out
damages to you, moreover they come leaves a tide you of temporary files, and
finally also going locally on the server and trying to cancel them the
operation it does not succeed in how much or it comes given the message that
the files is in use (and obviously it is not therefore!) or it comes carried
out the to cancel but after a little they appear newly, to times it comes
also outside a message that that says the document or the distance is not
valid! unfortunately all this does not have a regular course, that is the
same thing does not happen always, or appears always the same message but of
sure it happens on all blots some to them! to the contrary all the other
junior clerks you of net and all the net functionalities are working without
some problem. I add that all blot some to them are updatate regularly and
that on all it blots some to them is an antivirus ones regularly dawned (and
of sure not there are virus!), some suggestion?
Thanks !
