"file is not available" error

I recently upgraded from a previous version of word to 2003. When I try to
open my "old" - already created .docs - I get the error "file is not
available". Anyone have any idea why and how to overcome the error so I can
pull the docs up?

If you're using Symantec/Norton AntiVirus, try disabling the
Office Plugin that comes with it. See

Have tried these but it is still not working. Run the LiveUpdate and can't
find the office plugin. Any other suggestions

You can't find the Office Plugin by running Norton LiveUpdate.
All versions of Norton have an Office Plugin except for Symantec
Corporate Edition.
