File links

The file linkage statement below does not appear to work
with embedded blanks in the file names such as GOM
Exploration. Word recognises everything from file to GOM
and stops at first blank.

file://s/public/"GOM Exploration"/PreSDM/"Blues
Image"/"Blues image 072803"

Do blanks have to be removed from the file name totally
or can the file name be enclosed in parenthysis?
