File List Drop Down Delay During Save As

This is concerning Word 2003;
During Save As when the arrow is clicked to open the file list drop down
there is a delay of a full minute before the list opens. This started when a
new hard drive was added to the machine. We are on Office 2003 Pro with SP3,
running on XP Pro with SP2.

You might have more luck posting to a newsgroup dedicated to WinWord
rather than MacWord, as this one (*.mac.office.word) is. perhaps
