File location in footer

I just got Office 2007 recently. I wanted to create a new document
and as normal, the first thing I wanted to do was create a standard
footing that prints out the location of the document on our shared
drive.

I found how to put the page number, and last modified - but I could
not find the file location - nor a place to enter "HELP".

I suppose I could pull in old Word and Excel documents and modify them
to keep their footings and delete everything else.

Where is the help? How do I put in file location in my footing?

I don't think I got last modified date - but any rate, the standard is
"date printed", so people can see if their printed copy is current.

I will make a template as soon as I get the footer right.

This is ridiculous. I don't seem to be able to exit the
header/footer page and enter data.

I've got to find the help command.

In every version of Word I can recall... F1 has always been the Help key.
Word 2007 is no different.

If you're in Print Layout view, just double-click in the document area to
get out of the footer.

To insert the file name with path:

Press Ctrl+F9 (this inserts field braces).

Type filename \p between the field braces.

Press F9.

For various file information fields, such as modified date, in the Insert
tab, click Quick Parts, Field, set Categories to Document Information.
