File Locks on Workgroup File

Hi,

I am having trouble with a database secured using a workgroup file.
Essentially the workgroup system is working ok - to a point.

Unfortunately there is some instability in our database and it may crash
during the day. This then can result in certain users being "locked" into the
Workgroup.mdw file and the Workgroup.ldb file cannot be removed. We then have
to speak to network administrators to kick the users out of this file.

I wondered if anyone had experience of similar issues, or what we can do to
prevent this. Incidently we have no problem with users being locked into the
actual database file Database.mdb
