File menu export and import do not work

Hi
When I go to File in address book, the import & export options are both
greyed out. Anyone know why, or how I can enable them please?

Also, the main display page shows Name, E-Mail Address, Business Phone &
Home Phone. The Help page says:
"To change the order of the columns, point to a column heading (Name, E-mail
Address, Home Phone, and so on), and then drag the column to the left or
right until it's located where you want it."
But even though it saves mobile phone nos. (& they appear in a balloon when
the mouse is over them), they don't show in any columns. There is no option
under View to display mobile phone numbers. It would be useful for me to see
the numbers on the main address book screen. Any suggestions welcomed, thanks

Because the address book is only a view. It has no data and that interface
was never intended for data manipulation. All data is in Contacts Folders.
Nor can you configure the address book view. Those instructions are for
Contacts Folders.
