Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Processor: Intel I am using microsoft office for mac 2008. When I started with word I could use a "save as" button. But after a while the file menu disappeared and I could not save my documents as I wished, anymore. I tried to install the package again but it didn't help.
Can you help me?
I love the mac, but I'm a real "digibeet" (in Dutch. It means I'm a dummy)
greetings,
Marianne

Hi Marianne:

Right-click the toolbar and choose "Customise toobars and menus"

Select "Menu bar" and click "Reset".

Don't re-install things on a Mac: it is most likely to make the problem
worse, and if it doesn't, it won't do anything at all (because re-install
doesn't replace the user-generated files that get damaged: they are not on
the CD...)

Cheers

Hi John,
The file menu is back again.
I will remember your advise about re-installing things!
Thank you very much,
Marianne
