File menu missing when opening Rich Text emails

Have a user, using Outlook 2003 on Exchange 2003. XPsp2 boxes

When this user recives a rich text email from a client, when opend in a new
window the file menu is missing from the standard menu bar.

I the user creats a new message or opens one recived in plain or HTML the
file menu is present.

If the user forward the rich text message to another user, The second user
is able to open the message with the file menu intact.

Any ideas on a fick would be helpfull.

Sounds like you have to reset the menu. Easiest way is to right click on
the menu and select customize. Go to the toolbar tab. Highlight menu and
then select the reset button.
