File name wild card for consolidated MS Projects

I am trying to create a consolidate MS Project (2003) schedule using some
files that I don't control. The file names change (there is a date added
with each update) so I can't just use the file name to insert that file into
the consolidated schedule. I tried using a wild card (*) but that does not
work. Are there wild cards that can be used to resolve this issue? If not,
can a file server location be referenced instead of a file name? I
appreciate your ideas.

Thanks,

Hi
Don't know of any wild card :-((
With one of my customers, when creating a new version they save twice: once
with the dated name, plus once with the generic name in the location known
by the master.

Hi Jan,

Thanks for the idea. We are trying to get them to change their ways, but
they set up their systems first. I'm trying to find another path to get
around the system.

Thanks,
Scott
