File not available (after upgrade to Word 2007)

I just upgraded from Word 2002 to Word 2007 and when I try to open any old
file I get the message "File not available"....

I had bought Word 2007 to upgrade it but before I had time to install it,
Word 2002 crashed...can't remeber now what the message was but I just
installed 2007 instead and did all updates....

Hmmm...please help!

So... you start Word 2007, and you use the Open dialog to locate a file, but
when you select that file and click Open, you get an error message saying
"File not available"? Is that correct?

I've read that Norton's Office Plug-In can cause this problem. If you're
using NAV, try disabling the Office plug in and see if that eliminates the
problem (but don't turn off a/v protection altogether). For more information
