File not available error message

I recently created several documents in Word 2007, some saved in 97-2003
(.doc) format and others in .docx format. Whenever I attempt to open any of
the files I get the error "File xxxxx is not available". I am, however, able
to open the .doc files with Word 2003 without a problem.

Has anyone come across this before? Any help would be appreciated.

If you're using Symantec/Norton AntiVirus, try disabling the
Office Plugin that comes with it (but don't disable Norton
AutoProtect). See http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=329820 "How
