File not available

Word 2007. B2TR
Norton OFF.
File not available when clicking on any file (W2003 or W2007 format).
can't open from within word or from Explorer.

Not sure what you mean by "Norton OFF". Norton has two components:
Norton AutoProtect, and Norton Office Plugin. You should not turn off
Norton AutoProtect, but you should turn off the Norton Office Plugin.

I wanted everyone to know that all of Norton is off. I have NO problems with
that- and that was NOT my question.
Why can't I access the word docs? That is where I need help- and that is an
MS issue, not a Symantec issue.

Are you sure that in NAV you have disabled the Office Plugin under User
Options, Advanced? Even if you think you have 'turned off Norton'. if the
Office plugin was enabled, it stays enabled.
