'File not available'

Everytime I save a document in Word and then try to re-open it, I get an
error message saying that the file is not available. I have looked through
the similar problems that other people have and their fault is to do with
Norton Virus. I don't have Norton Virus - is there any other suggestions?????

How are you trying to open the file? Are you using the Open dialog box are
double-clicking it outside of Word? If the latter then try using the Open
dialog box to see if you are indeed able to open the file and narrow down
the issue.
