File not available

When I open Word (or Excel) and then try to open a Word
document, I get the error message "The file (FILE NAME)
is not available"

The patches are the problem (sort of). See "OFF: Cannot Open Office
Documents or Cannot Edit Inserted Objects After You Install Office XP
