FILE OPEN DIALOG BOX

Running XP Prof, Office 2003. Can one change the file open dialog box
look? E.g. When you click file, open you see the following on the bar
"Name, Size, Type, Date Modified". When I save documents I complete a
summary with a customised field requesting specific document keywords
e.g. Fax to Brett Fourie re Sale of Shares whatever. Can one add that
custom field to the file open dialog box so that it will list your
documents showing the following:
"Name, Size, Custom Field, Type, Date Modified"? Any assistance would
be appreciated.

You can customize the columns and the order of them but you cannot include
your own Custom properties. If you could use, say, Comments, for your
keywords then you could display what you ask.

Click on the split button with the grid-like icon to choose the view.
In Details view, right click on the headings to get to change the fields
displayed
