File open dialog

I'm using the FileDialog object in Access to open a
dialog box to pick a file by the user.

On my computer it works with no problems (officeXP, WinXP
Pro sp1) and on my clients it just won't open (office
2000 & AccessXP runtime on Win2K sp1)

any ideas ?

There are all sorts of problems associated with the FileDialog object ...
instead, use the FileOpen dialog code you'll find on Dev's site at
www.mvps.org
