File Open Sort

If you're in List view, change to Details view, then click on the Name
header to sort by name.

In Word 2002, the Open file box suddenly lists files in chronological
instead of alphabetical order. New files are added to the bottom of the
list. Did I inadvertently change a setting (which I can't find) or is this
a problem that needs fixing--and how can I fix it?
