File Opening Automatically at Startup of Word

I sure the fix for this question is easy...but I can not
figure it out. When I open Word, a file (document),
comes up automatically at startup. How do I get rid of
this so it opens up to a blank screen? I did not do
anything I know of...all of a sudden this file (document)
is now coming up.
