I have a problem of file optimizer, everytime I open office 2000 the file optimer comes on and cause my PC to hang
I just need a help of how to disable this file optimizer.

It's probably some scummy malware. Run Ad-Aware and/or SpyBot Search&Destroy
to clean up your system.
