File outgoing mail into a selectable folder

I'm switching over from Outlook (with an Exchange server) to Entourage
2008. On Outlook I have a VB plugin which when I'm sending an email
creates a pop-up to select where to file the message into a selectable
folder.

This allows me to keep all my outgoing mail filed into appropriate
folders. I don't want to setup rules since I can't dictate with enough
accuracy what messages should go into what folders, but instead I want
to be asked as I send where the copy gets stored.

With my current setup I get a pop up and the list of folders. I select
any folder, including sent items and deleted items (in case I don't
want to keep a copy) and the message is sent and the copy goes to the
selected folder.

I have a feeling I need an outgoing rule calling an applescript, but
having searched I can't find anything that'll do this.

Anyone have any ideas how to achieve this with Entourage 2008?

It's not as elegant, but when composing a message you can choose "After
Sending Move To" from the Message menu.
