File path in footers

Hi,
How do I make the file name and path that I insert within a footer in a Word
2007 document update automatically if the file is moved to another folder or
drive or change the name of the document?

You don't. Most fields do not update automatically. You would have to force
an update. Switch to print preview and back should do it, or see the example
code at http://www.gmayor.com/installing_macro.htm
