File Permission Error

Hey Everyone,

I got a problem with my MAC OS X. I am using the MAC WORD
X and i converted my files that i used to use in Appleworks
and put them into my WORD. I am able to open them,
however, if i do one change at all to the document and i
try to SAVE it, i get a pop up error message saying WORD
CANNOT COMPLETE THE SAVE DUE TO A FILE PERMISION ERROR.
Then after i click ok, it changes my documents name and
records it in my folder with a weird name such as Word Work
File D-0901. How do i fix this error? Please help Asap.

It seems that the priveileges on the files you are trying to open are
set so that you don;t have write privileges. You can try using an
application like BatChmod to chage the permissions on the file to grant
you these privileges. It should do the trick.
