File permission error.

When saving a test document to my Office Word 2007 for the first time, this
is what happened:
--I clicked SAVE
--Kept original name for the document (didn't change it as recommended) and
clicked rectangular SAVE button
--Kept in Journal
--"Word cannot complete the save due to a file permission error."

What does this mean? How did it happen? How can I get rid of it? I'm trying
to write a mystery and this problem is in my way. Help!

It means you will need to determine what the permissions are for the
location you tried to save it to, and get them set to Read/Write/Full.
