We are using Word 2003 in our office on several machines. I upgrade
one machine and copied all files onto it but for some reason the Ope
File dialog works differently on that machine than on the old machine.
Both machines are running Windows XP but on one, when using the Ope
File dialog box and highlighting a file prior to opening it (hoverin
over it) Word will show the File Type, Size, and Date modified. On th
new machine, the dialog box only shows the File Type and Size.
checked on my other machine running Win 7 and Word 2003 and the dialo
box also shows the Type, Size, and Date modified. We don't want t
change the View of the dialog box to Details as we prefer the List View
I tried the Tools option on the toolbar but that doesn't help. How i
the dialog set or changed?
