File recovery in Visio Professional 2003

I have 'Autosave' on at 10 min intervals. My computer lost battery power and
went from 'standby' to 'shutdown' and closed all the files and applications.
Going back into Visio, there appears to be no file recovery option. Despite
the autosave being on, all my work was lost. Autosave appears to be not
working in Visio 2003. Has this been fixed in later versions? Along with a
file recovery option?

I have started using Visio for my User interface wireframe works and
encoutered errors more than 5 times since Jan of this year/2009. Another just
happend a few minutes ago. The errors forced to close the application.
Despite the autosave feature on every 30min, autosaved file is nowhere to
find. Word or PowerPoint shows recovered file when you open the applications
and prompt if you want to view later/save. Visio does not. It is really
frustrating. I hope MS takes this issue seriously.
