I have a document (called To Do List) that I update on a daily basis. At the
top of the document, I display the date using the DATE field, and I have
bookmarked the field as TodaysDate. What I would like to do at the end of the
day is run a macro that does the following:
1) Save the document incorporating the date into the file name e.g. To Do
List - Sep 4, 09
2) Do a SaveAs of the document incorporating tomorrow's date into the file
name e.g. To Do List - Sep 5, 09
2) Close the document To Do List - Sep 5, 09
3) Open the document To Do List - Sep 4, 09
4) Unlink the DATE field in the document
5) Resave the document To Do List - Sep 4, 09
6) Close the document To Do List - Sep 4, 09
I have used macropod's Date Calculations in Word in other documents I have
created with much success. Do I need to use his brilliant field manipulation
of dates to do the SaveAs using tomorrow's date, or there an easier way to
accomplish my objective?
TIA
