file saved on mac

Hi all

I have a excel file created on a mac. The report compatibility does not
show any problem; but when I try to open and save the file using excel 2003
for windows. I got the message that "Document not saved".

Which Mac Excel version did you use to produce the file?

Did you try to open the file on more than one PC?

Did you try opening the file and re-save it on another Mac?

Does you Mac Excel file contain any binary characters? (e.g. Chinese/Japanese)

what i did was open the file with OpenOffice and solved the issue; but I
want to see if you can give another soluction.
