File Send (from other programs) error

I use file | send all the time
now it doesn't work

I get this error (from Word or Excel or IE)

"Cannot load extended MAPI Library. mapi32.dll

then another error msg:

Mail is not installed on your system.

I am using Outlook 2002. This had been working fine for over a year. I
have the IE Tools Options set correctly.
