File Sharing issues

We set up a tracking system using excel. We have 4 files
we have shared so multiple users on the network can make
live up to date changes. We have been having problems
loading these files. It will pop up an error saying the
file will close. All computers are running xp and have
microsoft office 2002 on them.

We have 4 files. 2 of these files are giving us most of
the problems, and the 2 files that give us problems are
usually used by one certian computer. Is there a
connection issue with that computer that has caused these
files to corrupt?

I have researched as much as I can, i'm stuck. Can
anybody help me?

Hi Jason have you got any service packs on windows and or
office?, do you get the message about a file being open
for editing if more than 1 user opens it.
Try the service packs they worked wonders where i am.
