File sharing lock count exceeded

I am running an update process. I have to read each record, process data
then update it. I got the message "file sharing lock count exceeded. Increase
Max LocksPerFile registry entry.' Can someone tell me where is the registry
and how can I find it and increase it?

you need to move to Access Data Projects
it's not a problem with the network; or your fileserver

it's just that MDB is 100% unreliable
