I'm not sure if this is the right ng for this, so plz excuse if it's out of
place...
I'm trying to setup our company letterhead in Word 2002 for use with our CRM
system (GoldMine).
The problem is the size of the file. It is 119k in size without any
additional text, which is too big. It has 2 embedded images, our logo and a
Microsoft logo. I cannot link the images because they file will be emailed
out of the company. I converted the images to WMF files, which are 1k and
6k in size. A blank Word file is 24k in size.
How come my letterhead file is so big? I did type some text in the head and
footer using Arial 10pt font (person's name, phone number, etc.). I don't
think that should bloat the file size that much.
Does anyone have a technique for setting up company letterhead templates?
What's the average size?
