Hi All,

I have a workbook which contains 4 sheets, no macro modules, but a
workbook_open event the code of which is simply Application.Calculate
= xlManual. The maximum no of columns used is 11 and the maximum rows
is approx 4000. 2 columns in 2 sheets contain if(iserror(vlookup type
formulas for all 4000 rows.

When l save the workbook 'as is' it is 16.6MB in size!!!

Having exported each individual sheet the sum of the sheets is 3.7 MB

There are no hidden or very hidden sheets.

The 2 sheets containing the if(iserror type formulas are approx 1.5MB
each

Surely this cannot be right

Can anybody shed any light on what is going on?
How do l reduce the the file size to approx 3.7MB?

Regards

Michael

HI michael

U can do one thing delete all the blank rows form every file.
you migh have copied data from another sheet using copy all and paste
into your sheets
just select all the blank rows and delete them , do this in every
sheet , I belive the size of your file will be decreaze.
