file size suggestion

Any suggestion on a way to reduse a file size? I have
bits of data on several sheets. If I put all the data on
one sheet, would that help? Other suggestions welcomed?

One thing that affects the size of a workbook is the number of cells on each
sheet that Excel considers to be in use. If you check the scroll bar on
each sheet, move the bar all the way to the bottom, and this goes way past
what you would consider to be in use, then this might be a contributor to
your problem.

Is there a simple macro that deletes unused cells to shrink the size of the
file?
