File Tool

I have a user that is a member of 15 workspaces in Groove 2007. On most of
the workspaces the Files tabe is present and everything is there. One one or
two the Files tab is not present but it is on other users computers and
workspaces.
What would cause this problem? A bad download?

TIA,

What OS is that user using? If it is Windows 7 - 64 bit I would be interested
to know as we have a similar problem with that OS.

Hi there,

Yes, more than likely a bad download. Try this:

1. The first thing you should do is to open up Groove and go to Options >
Preferences > Accounts.
2. There you will see s list of computers that your account has been
installed on. There may be duplicates if you have removed your account from
a computer and added it back. The computer that is listed in bold is your
current computer that you are viewing the list from. The key here is to
delete all of the computers that are no longer in use.
3. Highlight a computer that no longer has your account and delete that
computer.
4. After you have done all of this, go into your launch bar on the computer
that is causing you problems. Highlight the spaces that are giving you
problems and select to delete the space from this computer.
5. After you have done that, reboot your computer.
6. After you reboot, fetch the spaces back, one at a time.
7. If you do not have the space any more in your account, have another space
member invite you back into the space. If you are fetching the space from
another member or computer, make sure that other computer is on, running
Groove, and connected to the Internet.
