file transfer to ftp server

I posted this question twice in "Programing VBA" but didn't get any response.
I might be in a wrong category. I need help badly and I have checked all
anwers in NewGroup regarding this but didn't solution.

I want to send files to, copy files from and detele files in a ftp server
(this is a UNIX server) from ACCESS 2000 vba which is running at local drive.
I imported all classes from mvps site and ran the sample DB, but experienced
problems:

1. send file: application goes OK, but the I don't see any file in ftp server.
2. copy file: I was able to get file after sending one first regardless
whether the file is in ftp server or not. It seems that the file I transfered
back-forth was not to ftp server, but somewhere in between. Tries many ways
but can't fix; If I didn't try sending first, then error message like :"can
not start file transfer from..." evef I manually put a file in server first.
3. Don't how to delete a file in ftp server.

My user account and password are correct.

Any help will save me out of this frustration...
