BCM data is not stored directly in a file but instead in Sql Server
database. It's unclear from your email what has happened, but unless
you deleted the database, it is probably still on you harddisk, and BCM
got disconnected from the database.

Did you change profiles in Outlook? Perhaps because you changed to a
new email provider?

When you backed up, did you back up your database via BCM? What is the
name of you backup file? You would have been prompted for the file name
to save to and this would have been a large file.

Can you right click on your Windows toolbar and select Task Manager,
then in the processes tab, do you see an entry for sqlmangr.exe? That
would indicate that Sql Server is still running and your database is
still loaded. Then you would just have to have reconnect BCM to that
database.

Luther,

If I uninstal BCM, will sqlmange.exe stop from being loaded during
stratup?
Do anyother MS programs use SQL Server?
Was SQL Server loaded as part of the BCM install?

Thanks
