I understand I need to "drag and drop it" into my c:, but where do I put it?
I have placed it into the c:/program file/microsoft office/office 11 file and
m'office still runs off my ehd because of the data file still on it and don't
on the c: drive.

You can put it anywhere you want - just make sure outlook knows where to
find it, either using the file, open dialog or close outlook, go to control
panel, mail and open the profile and click Data files. Point outlook to the
new location.

FWIW, most people prefer to put it in my documents, not in the office
program folder.
