Filemaker Pro 7 and Data Merge Manager with Office 2004

Has anyone been successful in getting a filemaker pro 7 to link with
the data merge? All my documents are grayed out. Don't know if this
is an issue with Microsoft or Filemaker.

Thanks,
Corey

Filemaker 7 completely reworked the file format. This was done too late
to incorporate in MacOffice2004.

You can still export the FMP7 file as a SYLK or csv/Text file, then read
it into XL. FMP7 will read an XL file directly so no export is necessary
for the round trip.

I use .tab files (one of the default formats) and it works like a charm.
