Filemenu + Taskbar missing in word2000

My File menu and Taskbar is missing. I'm using word2000. All I see is the page.
I've tried removing office completely from my computer and all its registry
entries and files, but still no luck.

Can anyone help me with this?????

My guess is that you are in Full Screen view mode. Try pressing the Esc key.

Alternatively, you can access Word's menus by moving the mouse pointer to
the top of the screen.
