Filepaths in Recently Used Files List

Hi,

In (my) PowerPoint, the list of recently used files displays a long string
that shows the entire file path: HD/Foldername/Foldername...../filename.
Neither Excel nor Word do this; they conveniently show just the filename.
The visible part of the filepath is pretty much the same for all 9 recently
used files so its not very helpful. Does anyone know how to change this. I¹m
running Office 2004 11.2.3 on PowerBook Mac OS 10.4.5. Thank you.

Hi Amit,

I think (not positive about this) that you see full path names when the
file you are working on is in a different folder than the other recently
used files.

If you use the Project Gallery's recent list you won't see this problem,
and you can have hundreds of recently used files instead of just 9.
