Files and e-mail attachments are slow to open in 2007

I just upgraded from office 2003 to 2007 I am using windows XP home.
Every since I updated my email attachments, files, and IE6, word, excel and
outlook are very slow to open, I have done a disk cleanup, defrag my drive
and cleaned all temp files and cookies.I am also usuing zone alarm pro, which
was fine with office 2003.
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
