Files of type missing text files

I am running MSXP SP2 with Office 2003 SP1. I have tried
to import external data (text file) but in the Files of
type I only have 4 options ie: Win SharePoint, Excel, ODBC
and MSAccess files.
I know this is not all the files that can be imported and
have tried several time to uninstall and reinstall Access
and MS Office.
I have also taken the msexch40.dll and dropped it on the
regsvr32.exe file to re-register but this did not work. I
have downloaded all updates but this has not corrected the
problem.
Anyone else ever have this problem and been able to fix it?

Hi,

i have seen this before and fixed it by selecting all componants of access
when installing for the first time.

hope this may help
