Files open with language selection - what should I do?

When I try to open attachments I get sent to a page that asks me to select a
language or MSdos etc. I have tried to download Adobe Reader but I get the
error message 1327 Invalid Drive H"\
Help!!!

Assuming that it is Word documents that you are trying to open with Word,
firstly, you should save them to your hard disk and then use File>Open in
Word to open them. If the dialog opens asking you to select the encoding,
just try the default selection.

Also assuming that the files are not .pdf files, it has nothing to do with
Adobe Reader.

The first suggestion is not to open attachments directly. Save them to the
hard drive and open them with the appropriate application.
If you attempt to open a document with Word for which you do not have the
appropriate filter, you will get an error message or it will open as
garbage. One possible reason is that you are trying to open DOC format
documents in Word 2003 created from a DOTM or DOTX template in Word 2007
when you may encounter the situation shown at

The download error probably has nothing to do with the above, but is a
direct reflection that you are trying to download the files to a folder on
an H drive, but instead os addressing the H drive correctly, as H:\ you have
identified it as H"\. Put the correct location to save the document in the
download save as dialog.
