files opening Read Only in 2003 from Server 2002

Anyone come across this? Have Project Server 2002 and opening files in
Project Professional 2003 are opening Read Only (no matter which radio button
we select when we go to open the file). However, the files open fine in
Project 2002. Can reproduce the problem by creating a file in 2003, then
saving it to the server and then trying to reopen it from the server. Did run
the scrips from microsoft.com. Any ideas?
